BIO
Nadia graduated from the RMT program at Vancouver Career College in Kelowna, BC. She comes from Quebec and was lured to the beautiful mountains of Western Canada where she has lived for the past 17 years. This is her second career, as she spent 15 years working in the world of business analysis and finance. Nadia decided on this career change as she has always valued massage therapy and wanted a career that would align with her values around health, fitness and overall well-being.
Nadia believes in the benefits of Massage Therapy to reduce pain and regain ultimate function. She is very empathetic and always seeks to understand the root of her patient’s primary complaint. Through assessment she gains clarity on the "why" behind their symptoms. Her treatments integrate patient’s goal, manual therapy based on latest research and relevant homecare exercises. She deems essential to engage her patients in their own process of recovery as she finds that they achieve so much more that way.
Nadia is passionate about the outdoors. During her days off, she can be found playing in the mountains accompanied by her husband and her two dogs. She is an avid mountain biker & snowboarder. In order to stay fit for her hobbies, she frequents the gym to keep her functional movements tuned in for these activities. As someone who likes to be very active, she knows how important it is for her patients to have a fast recovery and thrives on getting them back to their healthy lifestyles as quickly and smartly as possible.
